Pastor’s Column 13th Sunday in Ordinary Time June 26, 2022 Christ is passing by—what will my response be? In this Sunday’s gospel, a man approaches Jesus. He seeks Jesus out while he is passing by on the road. We learn from Matthew that this man is a scribe, so he is a learned man and religious. Trials on the Road of Life
Pastor’s Column The Most Holy Trinity June 12, 2022 One year I had the good fortune to be on a priests’ retreat out in the Mojave Desert, but in order to get there I had to fly into Los Angeles International Airport. Duck! It’s the Holy Spirit!
Pastor’s Column Pentecost Sunday June 5, 2022 Some years ago I saw the most amazing sight. I was driving in the vicinity of where Costco used to be on State Route 22 -- six lanes of very heavy traffic. Suddenly, all 6 rows of cars came to a dead stop in both directions, right in the middle of that long stretch of road with no crosswalks or lights nearby.
