Recently a person shared this with me and so I wish to pass it on to you. It’s a little summary of some of Jesus’s teachings. Best of all, it gets us to think.

Father Gary

GOD WON’T ASK what kind of car you drove … he’ll ask you how courteous and patient you were on the road and whether you had mercy on other drivers.

GOD WON’T ASK what the square footage of your house was… he’ll ask how welcome people felt when they were in your home.

GOD WON’T ASK how high your salary was in this life … he’ll ask whether you were generous with your money toward others.

GOD WON’T ASK about the clothes in your closet … he’ll ask how many people you helped to clothe.

GOD WON’T ASK what your job title was … he’ll ask if you performed your job to the best of your ability.

GOD WON’T ASK what neighborhood you lived in … he’ll ask how you treated your neighbor.

GOD WON’T ASK about the color of your skin … he’ll ask about the content of your character.

GOD WON’T ASK how many friends you had … he’ll ask how many people to whom you were a friend!
